There is More to This Life than Just Pushing Through

There is More to This Life than Just Pushing Through

Push. Heave. Ugh! Sweat. Tears. Exhaustion.

Pushing is what must happen to birth a child.

But there is also a time and a place for pushing.

To push for the sake of pushing can create insanity and overwhelm.

I know because I spent last year pushing way too hard in my business.

And I am still exhausted.

Can you relate?

The support I received from my business mentor was all about taking action and pushing through.

Push through the resistance.
Push past the fear.
Push past and ignore the truth.
Just push.

So I pushed. I kept doing the things that didn't feel correct for me. I put myself out there, doing Facebook Lives and boosting ads.

It's really no surprise that I began burning out and Facebook banned my ad account.

It's in those moments that defeat comes up. Exhaustion leads to frustration which leads to beating ourselves up. We second guess our decisions. We believe we are not cut out for this work. We conclude that success is not for us - that it's only for everyone else.

But success IS for everyone of us.
It IS for me.
It IS for you.

Mercury Retrograde is BACK

Approximately three times per year, the planet Mercury goes retrograde. This is where it appears that the planet moves in a backwards motion although it is still moving forward.

Mercury officially went retrograde for the first time in 2018 on March 22. It turns direct on April 15. What does this mean and how does it affect you?

Here are some tips to help you stay flowing WITH this energy:

  • Mercury is the planet of all things communication, technology, and transportation. Now is a great time for routine maintenance on electronics, vehicles, and systems.

Lessons in Letting Go: 2017 Reflections

Lessons in Letting Go: 2017 Reflections

2017 was a bit of a roller coaster ride for me.

I was fortunate and blessed. My home still stands. Fires and floods happened outside of my area. I lost my cat Venice, but all other loved ones were safe and well.

I am grateful for the ups and downs of the ride. They taught me SO much.

I had to let go of a lot of old beliefs, old thoughts, old emotional triggers, and even old friends. I gave away old items I still felt attached to so that I could create more healing space for myself.

Healing was paramount. It guided me to understand ME. It allowed me to see where to place my focus in my business. It gave me clarity about the struggles I was facing and what I am now here to overcome.

I realized that I GET to rewrite the stories of my past. I GET to see where I was limiting myself and holding myself back from achieving BIG dreams.

New Impending Life Changes

New Impending Life Changes

Summer is slowly winding down. I see that school is back in session for most families.

For my family, school actually starts at the end of the month.

This has me rethinking about what I desire in my life given all three of my children will now be in school. My husband is actually beyond ecstatic, more so than I am, because freedom looms in the distance.

Freedom of time, energy, and fulfillment of purpose.

Oh how it is what we have wanted and it is about to happen. THIS month!

She Lives On...

She Lives On...

During the month of May, I watched this beautiful plant blossom. This gorgeous plant appeared right next to the stake and rock formation we placed as a memorial for our cat, Venice, who we buried just three months prior. The crazy thing is that we never planted this flowering beauty. She just appeared. I intuitively knew the color of the flowers before they presented themselves. I know Venice is with me in spirit, and now in this new, form. I felt called to reflect on this experience in the form of a letter to Venice below.

Dear Venice,

My sweet cat, I feel so blessed and supported. It calms me to see the beauty you now portray.

And look at you! You radiate an exuberant prosperity purple!

It warms my heart to see that color, the color that stirs my spiritual and altruistic natures. You now exude this beauty for us to see and enjoy.

When Sickness Hits and Clears a Path

When Sickness Hits and Clears a Path

During April, I suffered the biggest cold I have had in quite a while. It felt big for me because I really was down and my body needed to sleep for almost a week. But it was just a cold. I was able to avoid doctors as usual. I had lovelies who gave me bone broth, and essential oils. My homeopathy remedies, Neti Pot solutions, and Reiki sessions assisted my body with healing. But healing just FELT slow.

I feel like I run myself down quite often, even though one of my main focuses is taking it easy with work to avoid burnout and body breakdown.

Facing Loss

Facing Loss

Loss.

Loss of love, family, friends, money, support, health, well-being, stature, joy, empowerment, possessions, ability, job/career, business, house, relationships, community, competitions... is still LOSS.

It creates emotions, like sadness, frustration, disappointment, anger, indifference, rage, surprise, envy, bitterness, and so many more.

We all experience loss. We feel it, see it, endure it, and want to avoid it.

But can we really?

What Do You Want in 2017?

What Do You Want in 2017?

What Do You Want in 2017?

Did you know that in Human Design the New Year actually just started a week ago on Sunday, January 22?

For many of you who start the New Year on the first of January, it is no surprise that you end up falling off your resolutions and goals less than one month in. Energetically, you were not yet ready to take action toward reaching those goals.

January is a great time to begin creating goals to achieve during the new year. But if you start too early in the month, energetically you become drained, and give up too early. Or you hit road blocks. Or maybe your mind begins to tell you that you will never be able to achieve your goals.

Because you have no one to hold you accountable and you attempt to do it alone.

Luckily for me, I have a supportive husband to keep me on track with my work/life balance. I also have a coach to help guide me in the right direction when making decisions for my business.

Memoirs of 2016: How I Grew My Wings

Memoirs of 2016: How I Grew My Wings

I truly evolved in 2016. I learned so much. I grew so much. I found more of ME. I shared more of ME. I stepped into BEing ME and truly loving all of ME.

At the beginning of 2016, I was on a bit of a high. Life was good. Things were going well after having achieved so much in 2015. My husband and I hired a Financial Planner. We also hired a housecleaner. That was something we realized was worth spending our money on as it would free up our energy and relieve our stress load. This all happened only two weeks into the New Year.

Consciously, it was unexpected that I would ever consider quitting my job. Yet, one January afternoon as I sat listening to different online health summits at work, the Universe prodded me to reevaluate my reality. I was suddenly faced with a knowing that something was missing from my professional life.
